Greg Libbrecht
President, MBA

Greg Libbrecht - President - MBA - is responsible for the vision and business development of Platinum Books and Five Star Accounting

Greg has successfully started, built and sold a number of companies in his 25 plus years in business. Recently he acquired Five Star Accounting and is amalgamating it with Platinum Books as part of uniting the teams into one stronger entity to serve our customers better. He is also leading the implementation of new technologies and software to automate critical information gathering and entering of data into company financials. This improves the accuracy and timely generation of financials by our Bookkeepers for our customers. Our team of Controllers work with our owner customers to interpret and analyze the company financials throughout the fiscal year and guide the implementation of system improvements. We are a Certified Profit First Professional company of the international Profit First Professionals organization. We implement an excellent cash management system for our customers. The system allows our customers to realize the cash that should come with being a best in class profitable company.


Angela Hilland
Operations Manager/Senior Accountant, CPA - CGA

Angela is a CGA who has been working with small, medium and large businesses in a variety of capacities for over twenty five years, ranging from accounting technician while earning a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Manitoba, to Controller and management roles in later years. Immediately prior to joining the Five Star team in March 2015, Angela operated an independent public accounting practice, which enabled her to build on three years of experience at the Women’s Enterprise Centre as a Business Advisor and Program Co-ordinator of the WEC-Tech Program.

In addition to providing direct support in accounting, tax and other client services, Angela’s role as Quality and Systems Manager includes accountability for supporting the Five Star team in professional development and ensuring that systems and processes are available to the team in order to provide efficient, consistent, knowledgeable and high quality service to our clients. Angela’s experiences with a variety of organizations and industries, including manufacturing, software technology, hospitality, retail, not-for profits, construction and real estate development has provided her with a broad base of knowledge in several functional areas, including financial, human resources and facilities management, strategic planning, information technology, marketing and business development.

Angela and her husband are the proud parents of three active daughters, who Angela enjoys watching and encouraging in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including cheer leading, swimming and music, but particularly enjoys coaching them in basketball and Ultimate (frisbee, that is!), when she isn’t at one of her other volunteer commitments. When not working or attending extra-curricular activities, Angela enjoys time on the water in the family’s little bowrider aptly christened “Mid-Life Crisis”, doing her best to perfect the “whip” that sends the girls into gales of laughter.


Leslie Robinson
Account Manager/Senior Accountant, CPA - CGA

Leslie has over 25 years of accounting experience working with large corporations, including James Richardson & Sons Ltd. and Canwest global Communications Corp. In addition, she brings experience to Five Star from her previous positions as a Controller of small-to-medium sized local businesses. She has experience with full cycle accounting, year-end working paper files, budget preparation and has a strong background in both personal and corporate tax preparation. Leslie is a graduate of the CGA program and has also completed levels 1 and 2 of the CICA In-depth Tax Course. When Leslie's not working, she loves to spend time with her family or catching up on her reading with the latest best seller. During the winter months, she is involved in a fun league at the local curling club.


Hayley Hodgson
Business Enhancement Manager, CPA - CMA

Hayley is a business advisor specializing in strategy, finance and management.  For over 18 years Hayley has been working with owner managed businesses that range in size from $1mm to $25mm in gross revenues.  Hayley’s primary focus is on the coordination of people, processes and technology to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of a business’ information needs.  She has worked within a multitude of industries with a strong background in retail and manufacturing.

Hayley is a past Moderator in the graduate education program of her legacy designation – Certified Management Accountant – where in 6 years she taught aprox. 300 CMA Candidates.  Hayley was also a national trainer and author for Intuit Canada, the publishers of QuickBooks – where in 5 years she trained over 2000 users and wrote a 300 page training guide in the application and use of QuickBooks.


Leonne Bilodeau
Account Manager / Senior Accountant - CMA Canada-National Entrance Examination

Leonne has over 25 years experience in a wide range of industries. She has extensive experience working with for profit and non-profit organizations.


Vivian Sigurdson
Accounting Technician / Technology Integration

Vivian has been with Five Star Accounting (previously Hospitality Solutions Inc.) since 2007. She has a diploma in Accounting and Payroll Administration from Herzing College, and a diploma in Office Administration specializing in Accounting from Assiniboine Community College. Vivian enjoys learning new software and technology and is especially proficient with the advanced fetures of Quickbooks, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online. In her spare time, she enjoys horses, horse racing and spending time with her family.

Close to 20 years experience in accounting leadership roles in a number of industries.


Cindy Chodirker
Account Manager / Accountant, CPA - CGA

Cindy is a CPA Candidate with over 6 years of accounting experience. She has worked in both the public accounting sector as well as for private companies, a large educational institution and as an independent bookkeeper. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba in 2010 and hopes to complete her CPA designation within the next year. In her role of Accountant, Cindy is responsible for the preparation of year-end files and overseeing the work of accounting technicians. Cindy is passionate about bookkeeping software and loves to learn about new tools in her spare time. She is also interested in developing and improving processes within a business to create more efficient workflows. Cindy and her husband share one daughter and two bulldogs. In the little spare time she has between work and family commitments, Cindy loves to binge-watch a great Netflix series or read a good book.


Dianne Antila 
Account Manager Special Projects, CPA - CMA

Dianne brings over 30 years of experience including CFO in the mining industry. She leads our Consulting Division as an expert in identifying system requirement gaps, developing a plan to close the gaps and implement the plan to improve financial operations.


Wendy Hildahl
Account Manager / Senior Accountant, CPA - CGA

Wendy is a CGA with over 15 years of accounting experience working with both small and large corporations. She has gained valuable knowledge through previous positions including Assistant Corporate Controller with a publicly traded company as well as Controller of a travel agency. Wendy has experience with many aspects of accounting from full cycle accounting and year-end files to corporate tax preparation. In her spare time, she enjoys weekends at the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Tina has approximately 20 years experience in a wide variety of industries including service companies and charities.


Melissa Eyolfson
Account Manager, 2nd level CGA

Recently merged her company with Platinum Books, she has many years of experience both in industry and running her own bookkeeping company.

Launa has over 20 years experience in profit and non-profit in a variety of industries and has become one of our professional services specialists in addition to process development.

Sandra Lynn Kozak-Johnson
Accounting Technician, 3rd level CGA

Sandra has close to 30 years of accounting experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction and insurance, manufacturing / distribution and construction. She has very good attention to detail and a strong ability to problem solve.


Kerry Halprin
Accounting Technician, RRCC Accounting Diploma

Kerry joined the company fresh out of the Accounting Technician training at Red River and has become a valuable support person on the team and a very strong researcher of answers to unique challenges and setting up processes for the team. He works with most of our divisions in supporting the primary service provider.

 Imelda has approximately 20 years experience in a wide variety of industries including legal and dental services

Sharon Toth
Office Administrator

Sharon joined the Five Star team in January 2017, bringing several years of customer service and reception experience to the team, including ten years as a hair stylist. In 2015 Sharon earned an Administrative Assistant Diploma and gained work experience in a variety of contract positions. Sharon has just recently become an empty nester and is enjoying the peace and quiet. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, sewing, baking and watching a little TV to unwind.
